Hi guys -
We've noticed a fair few female profiles that have only just been made, with sod all in the profile and one generic photo - obviously with no verifications.
Every now and then we'll get messaged by one of them with two or three words and it just feels a bit dodgy - can't really explain why though.
Has anyone else noticed this? I gave one my kik and when she messaged she had nothing on there either so I blocked her. Wondering if it's a guy fantasising about being a woman or just a mess about account.
Are we being paranoid here? |

We wouldn't give our contact info to anyone unless we had chatted on here for a while and decided we all liked each other......I haven't noticed more single female profiles than normal but we can spot the iffy looking ones and just don't engage with them  |

I would guess, whether male or female they are hiding behind a profile.
For whatever reason they get their jollies from messaging people and messing them around. It's a shame but happens in all walks of life. I've never understood why people arrange to meet, then disappear into the ether, but they do. Just another way of getting their kicks. Wouldn't work for me, I prefer the real thing. |

Pic collecting lol.
You'd be surprised how many people will verify them too with out meeting too.
I noticed on a forum member a profile the other day a verification saying "meeting in person: we've been chatting for a while now but not had the chance to meet yet, hopefully we can chat he that soon. Great couple" or something along those lines .
Was wondering how on earth a meet verification that says they haven't even met got allowed |

They appear regularly. No pics. Profile text of one Lin "I am a straight woman looking to meet men"
Probably either a gay bloke after pics or kids messing about?
If "I am a bi woman looking to meet women" then they are straight lol.... |

I told one of them that their profile stunk of them being male hiding behind a female facade and they assured me that she was genuine and shed prove it with pictures but they never materialised. There's a surprise |

I had a "women" message me. After a few messages she suggested meeting with her fb.. The fb then suggested meeting alone. It was the guy all along, he confessed eventually. A year or so later the same guy tried it again (I had a new profile) I sussed straight away and even went along with it for a while. At one point he was having a conversation on kik between him and his female alter ego... It was hilarious.  |
