There's always the possibility that they may mean they go for personality and character without being shallow and just going for looks.
Or yes, they may be desperate.
Personally, there has to be an initial attraction, but certainly size isn't an issue and looks are in the eye of the beholder anyway. |

Yes, agree totally - it just says "Anyone will do...", and I'd completely avoid - the same with short profiles, or ones that say "just ask..."
I'd like to feel that anyone I'm with is actually looking for someone like me - even if it's a quick -&-easy meet!

if its unimportant why mention it ?
I dont mind people saying that so much as the vast ammount of status's and post in chat that say "anyone now" 
I usually just immediatly block them |

Cant agree with that ... I have met some great women who are more than rotund, I have met some 'perfect 10's' women who after giving them the benefit of the doubt when messaging, are in person, as up tight as what they come across in as their messages.
Granted I have calmed down meeting, but I would much rather meet someone who was willing to have a laugh, than someone that was so far up their own arse, that all they could see was their moaning tonsils. |

Each to their own. People can find attraction in many things and may not have a specific type. Doesn't always mean desperate or not fussy.
I know I've seen it on a few profiles of men and couples and it wouldn't automatically put me off. Especially if theres something more to go with it as I decide based on other things. |

Whilst I agree that they may be interested in the person it makes me wonder how many would shag someone they didn't find physically attracted to just because they got on. I know I couldn't but hey maybe just me being shallow and having to find someone both mentally and physically attractive. |

Bad wording. I see it as they aren't the type to go ewww at someone who isn't slim and pretty. It may not mean they will have sex with anyone who says yes,but who knows. |

Yes, you may well have a point there. I know a lot of guys on this site are, well, idiots but there are plenty of us who want to meet people for the right reasons and do show the due respect and manners. It's very difficult to get noticed as part of the hordes and it's very difficult to write a profile that ticks all the boxes without being an essay.

Yep, I agree, some of them probably mean well but have worded it badly. I'm equally put off by people who express their preferences in a badly worded way (NO FATTIES, NO BLACKS OR ASIANS for example.) |

In my early days on here I met a guy who had a virtually blank profile and said pretty much that.
His profile wasn't the best but he is absolutely gorgeous and we have been regular playmates and good friends for 9 months now!
I am more jaded now on here but I often think of him when I judge someone by their profile alone,
When I have given "ask me" or "no shape/age requirement" guys the benefit of the doubt they've been worth it.
Sometimes guys with very specific requirements and detailed profiles are more troublesome. |

Me too. I'm on here for sex,not a father to beautiful,intelligent children,I already have those. As long as our personalities match once we chat I'm not bothered by few profile words or what the OP mentioned. I'm not bothered by looks or size but I don't meet everyone. |
