All to do with the cuckoo bird it changes it's partners and also laying its eggs in other birds nest. The term's been in use since 1250. A simple wiki search will tell you more. Doesn't have to be strangers as been cucked by an ex work collegue (he doesn't know I know) and sure quite a few have been cucked by best mates etc. |
