Went to see Kobra and the Lotus last night in manchester, decided it was a good idea to stand right next to the speakers.....yeah my hearing was shot but damn good night |

loudest gig I've ever been to was The Prodigy in Brum a few years ago, on the Invaders Must Die tour. every bass note made my chest rattle and - although I don't know if this is scientifically possible - I swear you could actually see the air distorting in front of the big cabs... |

You're vision will distort and go fuzzy from high spl levels.
At a gig if your close enough it would probably happen but not from far away as the spl isn't contained.
Bass is just the ability to move air after all |

Went to radio ones big weekend and now have tinitus and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!! So pissed off I forgot my earplugs . A lifelong regret for me now |

Haha, how long was it ringing for? I used to do similar things when I go to the club, but now I just wear ear buds to stop it. Too afraid to get tinnitus |

No ringing thankfully but good dulled hearing for about 4 hours
