Celebrities and privacy

After hearing about David Beckham going fishing with his Son down Weymouth recently and as you would expect, was swarmed by the public for selfies etc, it raises a question on privacy. As a celebrity, do you think they deserve there own privacy? Or do you think it's all part of the game if you go out and about in public? And would you hound a celebrity if you could see them being crowded already?

It's great that they feel they can go out n about like a normal person but i think I'd treat them with respect and give them their space especially if they were already crowded. Not a Beckham fan myself but to some, he's their hero so understandable that they wanted to get up close.

When they are doing publicity things then yes but when they are doing things with their family, then definitely not.

Why on earth would anyone think that celebrities don't have a right to privacy.

I mean, come on, apart from anything else it's something that's actually enshrined in the Human Rights Act!!!

The only difference, as far as I see it, between celebrities and us 'mere mortals' is that the job that their job has high exposure - i.e. they are in the public eye.

I'm not someone who gets starstruck. At the end of the day, they're just people like anyone else.

Leave the poor bloke alone I say!

Yeah agree. I think they do expect it but it must be damn annoying. Would never want high profile status. Can't have a normal life surely...
