My son has his prom tonight & is wearing a dark blue suit.
The problem is, he's asked me to get him white socks to go with it 
How do I live down the shame? |

Oh dear, disown and disinherit him. Move house.....white socks with a dark suit. The fashion police are on their way.  |

One of our boys went to his prom last year.
New suit, new shirt, new tie. Fresh haircut on the day. He looked gorgeous.......until you looked at his feet!! He insisted on wearing his scratty converse pumps!!
I was sooooo mortified!! But, obv its a cool thing to do. kids (and teachers) kept asking him for a pic of his converse all night.
As parents, we know nothing! 
Hope he has a brill time!

I have three newish ones but can't compete. He's a bit of a clothes horse  |

Put them on a quick boil wash with appropriately coloured old clothes.
Go to confession, and confess your sins, if he goes in white.
Or put a meet up for a single male where, despite any resistance, you insist removal of his socks, furnishing your beloved with socially acceptable foot wear. Put meet in gimp gear and amuse yourself until sons do is over. |

Well, after seeing him looking quite scruffy when he left, I've now seen a pic of him with his mates on FB & he scrubbed up well

dark blue as in navy or royal? if hes got a white shirt and suspenders on the white socks will rock |
