Need to seal around my bath some advice says to half fill the bath. Others say just do it. Which do I follow?

half fill the bath is best as it'll settle with the weight of water so the seal could seperate later if you don't.

If you want a neat finish run tape along the bath and tiles, apply sealant then run a wetted finger along the bead. When done, carefully remove the tape and you should have pretty clean edges.

Took the words right out of my... fingers, lol

Important thing is to leave the water in the bath until the sealant has set / gone off

Look into getting a fungenboy.

Best silicone sealing tool out there gives a perfect finish

fill it seal the bath and leave the water in the bath for at least 24hrs after sealing

yep, that too, overnight to set at least. Oh and cold water, steam/condensation will affect the bonding

how'd you manage to get it deep into the crack just spitting it from your mouth tho

It's a shaped silicone tool, silicone doesn't stick to silicone.

No need for spit or running a finger along it. Just fill the bath, seal, shape and let is set
