Love Peter Kay, would love to see him live. He doesnt resort to filth to get a laugh, thats what I like.
I have just finished his book and was quite embarrassing sitting on a bus laughing to myself every morning |

I agree. Used to laugh a lot at him years ago. Then he ceased to be funny and just seemed arrogant to me. Like Ricky Gervais he laughs at nothing... worse..... he doesn't like ANYONE but himself in the limelight.
Dave Spikey is the real character behind the fun ...... he's a bit sexy too. |

I don't like him either. He has one joke: eeh bah gum, what characters we northerners are!
It was a cliche years ago and has become increasingly tiresome.
Real northerners don't feel the need to bang on about the north. Let's all use the off button |

"got peter kay tickets n frankie boyle tickets! seen millican, jimmy carr, manford n mcintyre so far n dont forger chubby brown lol x "
In the 80s Roy Chubby Brown was very popular, hes vulgar humour had shock appeal and in a way it was different.
Ive no idea if he is still performing but I hope not as I feel he's had his day. There were some things that Chubby said which were very funny but the majority just resorted to filth or racism to get laughs. I think he should hang up the coloured suit and the pilots cap. Have seen a few inter_iews and he comes across as an ok guy, I just dont think that kind of humour works anymore. People have moved on from working mens club jokes |
