we have had to dope up our dogs, wouldnt mind if it was just for one night, but for a week already and prob another......

i love watching them but think the sale of them should be banned and only public organised events.

agree that would be much better. You know we see so many of them now, birthdays, other celebrations that I am not even bothered to go out and watch em tonight. Sad really.

Like so many other things in life these days, consumerism has spoiled the excitement, anticipation and specialness of things.

I remember saving up to buy my first stereo and it was an amazing feeling when I got it set up in my bedroom. What left of special these days??? not a lot ......

Got a little box of fireworks for little legs to gawp at through the patio window while I freeze my gonads off outside setting the darn things off. He's too little to take down to the firework display in the park.

After 3 weeks of them being set off outside the house and in the back courts, am sick of them. And again, have had to dope one of the dogs as she's terrified

Love them, as I believe it is very romantic to watch fireworks next to someone you love.

Hence I am indoors tonight.

"the smell of gunpowder, turns mrs saucy on.happy days. "

I love watching fireworks and so do the kids.

But I agree it has all been too much in recent years.

The should be sold for a week before the day and only allowed to be used on the 5th or the nearest saturday before or after.

I used to love them, and still do like organised events. But I do think there should be more restrictions on selling them.

Was dog sitting for a friend last and the poor thing spent the evening lying in the corner shaking.

Even this morning he wasnt keen on going out.

And I really want to know where Mr and Mrs Ned get the money to buy them, cause they aint cheap.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Pointless exercise - stand at either your front or back window, and see what your neighbours have wasted their money on.

Sorted.

I cant abide the bloody things.

Each year they cause countless injuries due to either bad handling or yobs using them as weapons.

Organised displys or nothing and banned from public sale

I love them.

Enjoy the really huge ones that resound so much in your head n heart... They are fantastic sound and light experiences.

Major displays that cost thousands are breathtaking.

Love em x
