People can try dress it up how they want but she is only interested in herself, she isn't bothered about anyone else all she is bothered about is making as much money as she can, lets not forget she's removed her music from spotify because it doesn't pay her enough,
Its fine to be greedy and materialistic but don't try pretend its something else |

I don't see why people are concerned with her being in it for herself? as others have said, that's business.
With that said, the issue only related to this trial period as far as I understand and she didn't have to go out of her way to support new comers. she does seem to be one of the nicer folk in life. |

Don't buy music via Apple.
I wouldn't touch Apple, products or services, with someone else's bargepole, never mind my own.

Not sure what the issue is her. So what if she doesn't speak up for others. Indirectly her actions help others, even if her primary focus is herself.
I'll be trailing Apple music and will probably get the family package  |

there were other artists/record companies who were going what taylor swift threatened to do.... she just happened to be the highest profile of those... and because she did the same to spotify at least apple knew she was serious.....
I have no problem with what she did... i have no problem with apples response... |

I am absolutely looking forward to trailing it.... the only issue i have is that the uk is getting stiffed price wise because of the currency.... 10 pound a month in the UK, 10 Euros a month in the rest of Europe.... 10 Dollars a month in the US |

I really have never got why some people see the need to put people down. she has a talent even if you don't like her music. She sells it and wheather you like how she does it or not is not her concern. She seems to be going out of her way to do things that she knows other might not get away with because they are as successful. Yet she gets slated for doing what most people do which is earn money and look after there interests.  . |

I'm not putting her down for wanting to make money, what I'm saying is just say thats the issue don't try dress it up like your trying to do other people a favour |

Still putting down and based on an opnion of yours. As we never really know these people I am unsure how we can assume to know there motivates for doing things. As you must actually know her to have this opnion I will bow to your better judgement.

Is music worth money?
Does it have any value whatsoever?
If so... who should get paid?
If not why should anyone make it?
Do you think that someone who makes really good music should be able to give up their day job and focus solely on music?
Do you think that musicians should make music... or that they should be obliged instead to fill their hours with shooting endless videos, writing blogs, tweeting their every fart, printing t-shirts, and effectively being full time pr managers who just so happen to be able to sing too...when they get the spare time?
Do pr managers make better music than musicians?
The simple fact is that when music paid musicians we had great music. Since people stopped believing it has any value we've had shit music made by people who are more focussed on being semi-celebrities than making good music. Sooner or later people need to start putting two and two together  |

She's what you get when you don't pay for music; someone who's far more talented at getting attention than she is at writing music.
I can understand why people want to pirate music and nik it. That shit's been going on since the days of the mix tape. What I can't grasp is why some people think that music is literally worthless and that musicians should just be penniless whores selflessly providing the soundtrack to our lives without any hope of ever making a living through their talent. I just find that such a dark and depressing vision 
I don't care who Taylor Swift is... or why she's doing it... but she's right. Anyone who contributes to the quality of our lives should get paid for their contribution... there should always be an incentive to contribute. Take away that incentive and the whole thing shrivels on the vine. I point to the present state of music as my exhibit A to prove that point |
