Ok, we've got 2 weeks booked off work in October, although we've trawled through the travel agents sites online we still haven't come up with a destination!

So what's your favourite holiday destination?

Agreed. That said, I am going to egypt in january despite having been before. But my last trip was to Cairo and this time I'm thinking Sharm or Hurghada.

Cuba is lovely. Stay in Valadero, on a beautiful sandy beach and take a trip to Havana. Best of both worlds.

Cape Verde very cheap and stunning if you want a relaxing time.

San Diego is amazing!

Thailand is cheap in October rainy season but we had three amazing dry weeks only rained the day we arrived and when we left x

Another Cape Verde suggestion here especially for what you want, not too far either and as previously mentioned, cost.

Hurghada, Egypt. Some of the best dive sites in the world, snorkelling is great too. The marina is amazing, good food and it never rains. The hotels are great and you can get two weeks that time of year for around £650.

We've been 3 times.

I booked a fab cottage on a peninsula, West Cork - love it there. Will be there three months.

I've got a flat in Gozo, great sea _iew. In the past I've traded it for a month at a flat in Venice - also a month for a 60' Narrowboat in England.

Love to trade time at the flat for time on a Narrowboat again - loved the canals here. Had a blast!
