I may have eaten all of my Father's Day Liquorice Allsorts and Dolly Mixtures in one go

I blame Mrs ddc - she read out an article suggesting a five-day fasting diet and I panicked.

She is also moaning about not being offered one, whereas I clearly offered her one, but she chose to ignore me. (A whispered offer, while she's safely out of earshot, still counts as an offer right?)

Who else is feeling a little worse for wear today?

Mr ddc

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Which is your favourite? You had to have left your favourite one for last.

Mrs DDC, just remove his favourite ones from the pack next time.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Liquorice is a health-food (but I refuse to google, since I suspect I may be wrong)

And obviously the dolly mixtures taste of fruit, so count towards your five-a-day. (Not googling that either)

Whoops, I forgot the question as I love Liquorice Allsorts.

I over-indulged yesterday. We went to an all you can eat buffet for dinner. I ate all I could eat. I'm being abstemious today on the food front and over-indulging on doing the washing.

Possibly, though the stress of living with mrs ddc is why most of it fell out, and the rest went grey

Indeed liquorice is a legume with many health giving properties including it being a superb laxative.

Oh buggar!

Bless me father, for I have sinned. Please also take into account: black pudd, beans, sausage, bacon, grilled toms, egg and hash browns. Maybe a diet day beckons...

I've a large bar of Toblerone to get through

But they're supposed to be the Swiss Alps, right ?

So I'm really mountain climbing, and that's good and healthy

I've over indulged for a couple of weeks and thrown my diet a bit off course, so I am back on the wagon big style as of Friday and am now feeling suitably healthy and smug about it

I downed a good few pints with my mates then got a munchy box on the way back from the pub last night, feeling terrible now. Unfortunately i live across the road from a church, and theres a wedding, with a fucking piper, not doing my sore head any favours.

They'd laugh in your face if you tried buying a little Angel cake

You could always try a nice creamy tart instead?

i have a theory about pigging out - you feel so shit rough(in your case in about 8 hours im guessing ) that you dont do it again for ages - therefore its not such a bad thing

Some of us are so poor, beans and a hot bath is the closest we'll get to a jacuzzi!

Admittedly the liquorice added a hint of jeopardy I could have done without

I know liquorice is a laxative but it has never had that effect on me.

If it helps you clear out Mr DDC, ready for a week of being good then it was worth the pig-out.
