"Blueberries, ice cream and maple syrup - yum!
Mmm I'm partial to strawberries and ice cream with choc sauce x"
Now that sounds good... except I am slightly allergic to strawberries... but they are yummy. |

Pancakes with lemon and sugar, or cheese, onion and ham.
Waffles, always good for breakfast after a night of fabness as the batter is better after standing for a few hours, with blueberries, bacon and real Canadian maple syrup. |

I quite like pancakes savoury, so with bacon or ham or mushrooms.
If I'm going sweet it's got to be either golden syrup or lemon and sugar, I don't care if it's boring. |

The world's best pancakes are sold on the streets of Beijing. An egg broken over the top while still cooking, chilli, a suggestion of plumb sauce and a bit of crisp dough stick. Forget that wall or the Terracotta Warriors, the 'Jian Bing' is the greatest achievement of Chinese society.
For dessert, lemon and sugar of course |

The way my mum makes them, idealy hot off the gridle, and plain.
My granny made a bailey's derived spread for it but thats a bit too far for my tastes, she was a wee bit nuts. Nice though. |
