and Scottish scientists are nearly there, being able to produce a Harry Potter style cloak.
Where would you wear yours and to what good use would you put it?

It's nothing so clever.
All they they have done is invented a 'tv screen' made out of material. You have cameras attached to the back of you and their images are projected onto the material at the front of you. This means someone looking directly in front of you sees 'live TV' of what is directly behind you effectively rubbing you out of the landscape.
The US Army have been working on this for at least 10 years but aren't as keen on announcing it as this group of rival Scottish scientists are. Although it isn't top secret. |
