"Would the Neanderthal equivalent of a nasty message be drawing a fat stick person and lobbing it AT a woman?
You can't have a fat stick person.
They'd draw a hippo."
A log person? |

Okay. I guess they'd have to have a universal language.
Sun tanned people would be drawn on a satsuma. |

Most of us white Europeans will have around 2% Neanderthal DNA - but we all may have a different 2%, and some will have more than others.
Perhaps we should be looking inward, as what's influencing our choices could be some bit of our Neanderthal selves. They were potentially artistic, creative and not so dumb as once thought and certainly attractive enough for modern humans to want to breed with them.
Some of their communication may have been more advanced than ours, so could have been better than our current sign language. |

Thanks Kuulmonk - I've probably spelt your id wrong, so apologies if so.
I appreciate some Neanderthal inside of me. They think possibly 40% of their DNA may still exist, scattered amongst the human population. That's a significant influence they're likely still to have in todays world.
I like to feel when I'm somewhat irrational that it's possibly inherent misunderstanding and conflict between my inherent biology. |

I've got this impression of two Neanderthals in a cave, looking at the rock art; she says, 'they must have painted this ages ago, he still has hair on here, and he must have ran out of pigment to be so small on this,' |
