A crazed bus driver loses it .

Not sure you heard the news as it happend in london, but a bus driver totally lost it and dragged a passanger out of the bus and argued with her, the next min she was on the floor not moving. The driver was an agency driver and been sacked and she reoprted her to the police. Just cos she was an agency driver means she cant do what she want, r, whats ur thoughts?. |

used to be the person doing the tickets, they had a little machine which 'clipped' the ticket..
and they used to prevent you jumping off before the bus was fully stopped.. |

Being a bus driver myself I can understand why the driver flipped, I've been close to it myself on occasion but managed to control my urge to thump someone, we get called worse than shit, spat at and I know a couple of drivers who have been dragged out the cab by some piece of low life scum for some petty reason, it's not the job it used be when I first started driving |

It wasn't a passenger, it was a passer by that saw the bus going through a red light. The driver beat the woman to the ground before attacking people that tried to assist the victim. She then went on to attack innocent bystanders. Completely lost it. The incident happened in Stamford street in Blackfriars near Waterloo

It can be called dealing with the General how they push you to the edge was a pub manager for years i snapped a few time,s un professional yes but standing there and some little jumped up piece of shit starts to have a go over nothing |

Aa taxi driver i have to pick up a fair few undesireable types, i would imagine that hits a whole other level as a bus driver......some people just like to complain about public transport workers. We have a bus spotter type in our town, any trivial thing and he reports it to the council, perhaps that's what she was like......who knows....probably only the person who broke the story, as is the norm |

My mum's mum used to be a clippie. That's how she and my Grandfather met - as he was a driver on the buses in the Redbridge / barkingside area.
Mind you, we're going back a while now. He would have retired in the 1960's and died in 1972. (at the age of 71) |

As an ex bus driver I can second this, had to bite my tongue on more than one occasion.
Picing up on the story the driver was filmmed going through a red light.
I wonder how red the light was ?
I only say that because when you have a double decker with 72 odd people on , many of them standing, stopping isn't always the best option.
As an example I had a dick in a BMW scream past me then hurl his car across the front of my bus (I was in a bus lane) to take a left turn.
Split second decision and he ended up on his side wrapped around a lamp post. Had the bus been empty I wouldn't have hit him |
