You often hear people say it was good/better in the old days or similar sentiments.
Well, we don't have high infant mortality, we live longer, we have instant world news, personal communication and transport. Most diseases have either been eliminated or better managed with a prognosis of eradication.
So on the face of it we have better lives and most of us on here would be in that alleged top percentage of the global population that are 'comfortable' (or certainly not in poverty).
So what do 'the panel' think was the the best era in human history to be alive?
If you were given the opportunity to travel back in time (one way ticket) would you and when? |

As fantastic as it is, I would go back and kill the Internet and all social media.... It has killed the art of communication and good old fashioned meeting people.
The Internet is such a powerful tool
Lots more to say on it but not gonna bore ya |

"Personally I don't believe cureing all illnesses and living longer is always a good thing
Sorry but just my opinion "
I'm fascinated to know your reasoning? |

Invictus is my go to guy for all time travel related queries. He's currently visiting Claudius, where he is resisting the urge to shout 'Hi, Claudius' every time he sees him*. When he gets back, I'll ask him about this.
