Do you get drawn in by good photography?

I've been told that my photos "used to be much better" than what I have now.

I was a little insulted, but I was always slightly nervous that if my photos were too good, the reality would be subject to the trade descriptions act.

I don't mean overuse of Photoshop, it's just that you can do an awful lot with good lighting, great poses and composition.

The people here who seem to get the most attention have amazing photography.

Do you account for this when looking at profiles? Have you seen a great body hiding under bad photographs and still been attracted?

I think good photography always gets most attentions, I've seen some of the "hot pics" and thought there not that good looking.

I need someone to take some photos for me, to make me look better haha

I love looking at great photos, whether I'm attracted to the subject matter or not.

I also love looking at attractive people whether the photo is composed well.

However when looking for people to meet it doesn't matter how good or bad their photo is, it matters how attractive we find them physically and then when we start chatting if there's something about them too

I have used one of my photos before on here and its been accused of being fake. As a photographer i tend to have an eye for a good angle lighting and know the best filters. But because it looks too staged i dont have those kind of pics public or tend to use just ones taken on my phone.

I really enjoy looking at good photographs. I know what I like but haven't got a clue how to create really good ones myself...one of those things I'd like to learn. There are quite a few who create lovely photos on here.

I don't know if this is because I am a film maker/photographer professionally but I am really drawn in by great shots.

Well composed, lit with artistic purpose, oozing detail and telling a story of some kind photos really turn my head

We love looking at good photography, particularly if it is sensuous and erotic rather than graphic. Good photography suggests to us that the people who post the photos have some pride in the way they present themselves - after all fab is their "shop window".

We aren't photographers, but enjoy taking photos and modelling - and what you see is what you get. We shoot in raw and develop in Lightroom but don't Photoshop. People seem to like the results - we have about forty thousand fabs.

I've always been aurally rather than visually creative by nature but I do appreciate photos that appeal to an aesthetic in me when I see them. I lack the ability to explain why they appeal though. As to my own, if others like them it's more luck than judgement since I just post the ones I like and don't tend to think about what others may want to see.

I post the best photos that I can take.

There are plenty of people who will go on about how editing a photo or taking professional-looking (whatever that means) photos is misleading or dishonest but I couldn't give a flying fuck. If my profile represents me then it's going to have aesthetically pleasing photos on it. I actually disagree re the most popular photos, there are regularly ones up there which are photographically shit, but a lot of people like a facial or a fanny shot so they do well.

I'd rather post a photo I really like than one which I think will get more fabs or attract more people. I've worried before about giving the wrong impression by using flattering photos but now I've decided I'll post what I want, I know they're still me and they represent me and what I'm like.

I do enjoy photography and appreciate a well taken pic. That said, not everyone has access to a SLR 20 megapixel camera (remember vga ones on phones), nor has the expertise to create something really special.

As long as I get a good impression of what the person looks like, a well taken selfie (most of mine are) will suffice

I got burgled a while back and the thieving scum nicked ma camera and tripod, so am using a 5.3 mp camera on ma phone

There is nothing wrong with your pictures and yes I do think people prefer the better/more professional looking shots.

I personally don't take my photos for the benefit of anyone other than myself.

That way they will where I am most comfortable and hopefully this comes across in them.

Good photography is always appreciated.

People who tease and tantalize with their pictures are the vest .

The art of seduction is to grab some ones attention but not reveal all

It's very important to be the vest.

[singing] "Simply the vest! Vetter than all the rest"

I think you should post one of you in your vest.

I only look at the profiles with interesting pictures when scrolling through the local updates.

Mine get cropped (it saves tidying up) or put into a little collage. That's it.
