near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Which way is the right way to mount a toilet roll in the holder?

Coming over the top and down the front or hanging down the back against the wall

If you`ve got VIP`s coming, do you do that pointy first sheet bit or do you simply hang your squares of the Daily Mirror on the nail?

For me it's got to hang down back against the wall - ALWAYS lol and if it's not that way, I have to change it!

Theres no right or wrong. but the BEST way is facing out, nothing wrong with a nice folded point either

A knitted doll to cover the loo rolls now that's crazy talk

In my book the loo roll must hang at the front...thereby making sure it doesn't wipe down the wall before I have to use it

Squares of Daily Mirror are fine...but must all be cut into matching sized squares and hung from a decent piece of string and not an old used shoe lace!

I don't see my loo roll as art! I am so far away from being pretentious but sometimes like to fold the corners in, just for kicks lol

nationwide.

The paper should hand down towards the front. And if you want to be posh fold the corners in to form a point like the bottom of a mans tie.

over the top and fold the two corners into an arrow shape to make it look like they are the first to use it that day.

hmmmmm methinks my days running a B+B and working in hotels is taking over my life

maybe classy in the 80's but most definitely kitsch now, I hope they don't make a return they could have the grannies at age concern knit them, like they do those tiny hats, on the smoothies

for adults it has to be down the front

but if you have kids or a cat it`s down the back

saves you finding it all in a heap on the floor as the sods have unrolled it

O o O oo

Not against the wall !!

The OH was in the RAF and so he says ( not sure if he is winding me up or not) but the queens crest was on the toilet roll and always had to be rolling from the top so you could see the crest, they said it was a sign of disrespect to put it against the wall.

Now if he isn't winding me up...how come it is a sign of disrespect to put the crest against the wall, but not to wipe your arse with?

Anyway , I like over the top and not against the wall anyway so no fighting over the loo roll in this house

Someone changing it other than me would be nice!!!

Only two of us at home now and my daughter will leave two squares on the roll, use one from the stack on the tray and put it back rather than take the empty roll of the holder and put in a fresh one!!

I like it hanging over the top...not against the wall!!

I drive my mother in law mad when we visit. I turn her loo rolls round just before we leave. She has hers with the loose end on wall but I don't. She's started doing the same to me now when they pop over!

Sympathy here from a fellow "only one to ever bother to change the roll and take the discarded tube out of the bathroom"

I'm definitely an over not an under

Went to a presentation on autism once and this very subject was discussed. We all have strands of autism in us a bit like a graphic equaliser, some have higher settings than others which can give us mild OCD which compells us to do this...even in other people's homes!

Who straightens the towels too? Lol

Christ. San Izal. The one thing that Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville and the boys from Jackass haven't tried. It had a rough side that ripped your doughnut to shreds and a shiny side that slipped and slid skidmarks half way up your back!!!!

Since my loo roll holder fell off the wall, I just leave it on the windowsill. It also prevents my new puppy from jumping up & dragging it around the house.I wouldnt mind but she isnt even a Labrador!

Personally I have better things to think about than which way to put the bog roll. As long as there IS one who cares.

the little squirty thingy or a water container, does a nice clean job and a little tissue to dry up. Ecologically sound and very clean and hygenique actually.

P.S. Only use your left hand with the water as the right is for shaking hands and of course hands well scrubbed after the deed.

Do not ask about the desert - it goes against the grain.

There is only one way to hang a loo roll... over the front and hanging down. NEVER down the back. *shudders*
