No longer a user?

We were away at the weekend when we checked our inbox we had 18 messages.. going through them 4 of them were no longer users of the site!!!
Is this a common thing? surley it should be made harder to join and leave wily nilly.. we have altered our settings now so new users can not contact us |

Perhaps they were single males that joined, realised the competition is high and left. Or perhaps couples that joined, realised it wasn't for them then left. Plus you have no way of knowing how long they'd been on the site for so why block new users? Everyone has to start somewhere. By blocking new folk you could be blocking a great meet with an enthusiastic couple that isn't yet bored of the scene and moaning about timewasters! |

That's the best solution. Much as we'd love to TRAP folk on here, never to escape this is outside even our powers

we were chatting to someone last night for a couple of hours next thing it came up user gone?? who knows what happened for them to stop hopefully we didnt scare them lol |

We find it often happens if we have been away for the weekend. Some guys get fed up and give up i guess. |

I'm currently writing a short horror story about something similiar.
Members of a forum are being banned by a moderator named Sam that can't be traced.
The only thing is, each member that receives a ban dies a horrible death in real life 24 hours later!!! 
I will change all names to protect the innocent 
The working title is:
Wham ban! thank you Sam!
I'm in discussions with a few Hollywood studios over the movie rights.
I'll keep you all posted. |

All you have done is exchange a message or two with a stranger, unless they have arranged to meet you then not turned up what exactly have you lost more then the couple of minutes it takes to read and reply to a message? |

make them sign up to a 12 month contract and set them a target of meeting 5 people per month or they pay a penalty fee |
