(Sorry to bring up the subject of 'bi' again...)
Should we have a 'Wear Nothing but Your Wellingtons Day' to celebrate?
While listening to my Abba Gold cd natch.

Ps "My my
At Waterloo Napoleon did surrender
Oh yeah
And I have met my destiny in quite a similar way
The history book on the shelf
Is always repeating itself
Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo - Promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo
My my
I tried to hold you back, but you were stronger
Oh yeah
And now it seems my only chance is giving up the fight
And how could I ever refuse
I feel like I win when I lose
Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo - Promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo"

"As someone who was told off for surfing on the barstool to 'Surfing USA' by the Beach Boys the other night, is the world ready for us? "
They'll never be ready for us
Some friends and I once danced the can-can at a Hooked-on-Classics concert, standing on the cinema-style seats.
That took more co-ordination than we had |

"Just fuck to 1812 overture to commemorate the he victory"
Are you serious?
Don't you know how long that is before the explosion at the end? I can never make it past the lady tuning up the pink oboe while giving me the French horn.

Erm sorry pedantic head on
The 1812 overture was written to commemorate Napoleons retreat from Russia in erm 1812.
The battle of Waterloo was 1815 , hence the bicentennial lol
Pedantic head back off
Now where is my camera and wellies |

"Daily telegraph has been giving updates as It happened throughout the day today.
Good read if you half an hour or so to spare. "
Are they covering the re-enactment too?
I chuckled when I heard the French were threatening to refuse to lose! |
