There was a big storm that swept through 'White Hart Lane' last night...

Unfortunately the force of the storm could not be contained as it swept down the left... down the right... and through the middle....

Yes there was casulties.... and I would like to take this opportunity to bow my head and say these few words....

WHO R YA!... CHAMPIONS WHO???

YID ARMY!!! YID ARMY!!! YID ARMY!!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

The problem with this level of giddiness is that you're a Spurs fan.

And as a Spurs fan you'll soon be having your bottoms spanked by the top 4...as usual.

Which will make the excitement about a single group game seem all the more pointless.

Now now.... any true Spurs fan like myself knows we will not win the 'Champions Leauge' or the 'Premiership' for a while... but any true 'Football Fan' will give credit where credit is due.. and that was a fantastic match to watch!

Personally any 'English' team that plays in Europe I support... as it is great advertising for the Premiership..

Out of curiosity... who do you support?

Hubby was beside himself with joy and still is this morning

Yet on saturday he was the complete opposite

Oh the joys of football and living with the rollercoaster of emotions

I'm with you on this - I will always support a home team in Europe (yes, even Arsenal). I was confident after our 2nd half in the San Siro but that was better than even I expected.

As a Spurs fan you learn to take the great performances against the top teams along with the random thrashings 3 days later to a lower league team...You also learn that the top players go when Levy is offered top dollar for them.

Now, ladies in football shirts look great. Especially those a little larger up top with maybe a shirt one size too small...

Carrick and Berbatov have been and gone when good money has come in but then as a financially well run club I guess you can't have it all ways.

Doesn't stop you hoping though I think it's good Scotland has it's own identity but it's a shame it comes at such a high price.

North London must of reeked of the smell of mothballs today... all them spurs shirts came out of hiding!!!

suppose you'll release some sort of "dvd" of last night's accomplishment, probably in the club shop in time for the weekend!!!

so what time should we expect the "Victory Parade" going thru seven sisters and down the Tottenham high road... just so that I know to miss that 5 minutes.....

anyway..... 50 years, 50 years...... and still only 1 win in the last 22 league games

Not sure the finances are that great in PL to be honest - some terribly run businesses that may be in trouble in the coming years with spending/earning ratios coming (why should that cause a panic in a business?).

I see your point though and hope the SPL and lower leagues become healthier in their own right shortly.

Well I do agree there is a lot of closet supporters... but as someone who was there last night and also every other home game this season... also all the Home Champion League matches... then I feel the right to sound praise for a team I have been supporting for 31 years

I know many Arsenal supporters who do not go to the games... they come down to the local snooker club to watch the matches.... never wearing an Arsenal shirt.. so no need of smelling of moth balls!.. just prefering to keep quiet and heads down if Arsenal lose.. but are very eager to sound off when they win... Arsenal.. gracious losers..never!

Now I can appreciate good football and for the last 5 years Arsenal have been playing beautiful football to watch.. but unfortunately no silver ware to show for it...

As I am a North Londoner born and bred I feel a lot of pride that we can now say we have two teams who are of great value to watch and also play exciting football.... Give credit where credit is due...

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Well since my local league team AFC Bournemouth (please stop sniggering at the back!)are never going to cause much trouble in Europe (unless they`re on a Club 18-30 holiday) I have no choice to support any British team in Europe, and yes, that includes Rangers and Celtic, Poochester United and the Arse!

So yes, well done the Spurs!

This is the kind of pointless snide juveniity I meant in my previous post.

What on earth can those two clubs have done to incur the "wrath" of a Bournemouth supporter?

That would be like me getting all unnecessary about Melbourne United...they exist in a completely different league and our paths almost never cross.

Its like a shop front. Berbertov did it (put on a display) so he could get a move to a bigger and better club. Bale is now with the hope of doing the same.

Tottenham Hotspurs Away Record:

Not since August 1993 have Tottenham won at the home of one of the Big Four – Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester United – and that was when Teddy Sheringham scored twice in a 2-1 win at Anfield.

Since then Tottenham have played 67 times at those four clubs. Indeed, since the Premier League began they have won just twice at one of the rivals (in May 93, 3-1 at Arsenal and the 2-1 victory at Liverpool) in 72 visits.

TOTTENHAM'S RECORD AT THE ‘BIG FOUR’

v Arsenal P17 W0 D7 L10 F 11 A 30 (last won there May 1993)

v Chelsea P17 W0 D5 L12 F 10 A 34 (last won there Feb 1990)

v Liverpool P16 W0 D5 L11 F 11 A 31 (last won there Aug 1993)

v Man Utd P17 W0 D3 L14 F 7 A 33 (last won there Dec 1989)

In Total P67 W0 D20 L47 F 39 A 128

Hey, hands up mate, Nani killed the ball when he handballed it and the linesman and Calamity Clattenburg fucked it right up. No qualms from me on that score (pun intended lol)
