The stuck in skinny jeans thread reminded me of a question I want to ask.

Flares are started to make a come back and I love them! But they don't love me...

I'm 5'4" with 28" inside leg... I can't find any that I won't wreck in 5minutes because they're too long.

I've seen other midgets like me wearing them so where do they find them? Is there a leprechaun shop?

Any websites greatly appreciated! Xxx

My mum is 4ft 10 and she just turns up and sews her jeans from the bottom so they fit.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I feel for you (5' here) but I won't be joining you. I remember them from the first time and have recently seen the pictures.

Good luck shopping.

"My mum is 4ft 10 and she just turns up and sews her jeans from the bottom so they fit."

That doesn't work so well on flares cos you just cut off the flarey bit and end up with jeans that just stick out over your feet!

Asda, m&s, next, debenhams and most of the jeans companies do different leg measurements.

Skinny jeans are easy to get off, you just stomp around the room a bit and peel them off inside out, seeing as he is a man I'll just leave him to suffer for a bit

Haha I have totally considered this but they don't seem to have the "child bearing" hips I have on stock either lol

Shame. My mum is really slim as well so has no problem fitting into tiny clothes. Luckily kids are getting fatter so i noticed i can fit into some kids clothes now hehe, but never anything tight like jeans, things like dresses, skirts and that.

Next, Dorothy Perkins or BHS all do a petite range.

I would recommend trying on a few pairs as I find the same size and fit will all vary slightly when you try them on.

Can't you buy a normal pair, stitch a few folds into the thigh section and start a new trend for Ra-Ra Flares?

Ooooh I found some!!!!

Online is the way to go. After going through New Look shops endlessly I didn't hold out any hope but then I found 28" inside leg! And they're a reasonable price now just waiting for them to arrive!

Thank you happy people. Xxx

Depends on where they're bought.

Bootcut ones are the most flattering, as they taper into a subtle flare.

Loony bell bottom flares are just...loony
