Charlie asked me a few months ago for drum lessons, thought it would be a fad so said we will see, 2 months later she is still asking for them so we agreed she could have them, bought her a drum kit...

She's having her first lesson tonight at home, yes i said at home, in the next room, what the hell was i thinking i cant hear myself think!!!

Have you ever said yes to your kids about something and then regretted it??

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Can't you get those electronic kits with headphones? Or are they much more expensive than a starter "real" kit?

Either way...

Cello! Jesus the sound when she was learning, it used to rattle my fillings!

Seven years later excellent cellist but always wanted to practice during Corrie or Strictly: sigh!

Now she's off at uni with her cello: wish she was next door doing my head in! That said, she's back on 17 December til 24 January... with her cello! I should enjoy the peace shouldn't I?!!

I didn't exactly say yes but my twins school decided that all year 4 children would be learning the ukelele this year.

Unfortunatly 2 of the children I care for are in year 4 as well so every thursday after school I have 4 of the damn things being played.

It's like being in a really bad George Formby Nightmare movie!!!
