I know I am knew here, but some advice from strangers is often needed to show a clear and unbiased perspective on things
I am currently going through a very a low point in my life. In short, without going through much detail, I have left my husband in Ipswich and moved to Doncaster, we are now going through divorce procedures. I also have a Father in London who is currently in very ill health and so far the Doctors cannot tell me weather to plan a funeral or a care home. In between all this I have no time or desire to meet anybody from this website
I suppose the question is, is being on this website a waste of time since I don't want to meet anybody? Or is it ok to stick around and see what happens

Welcome aboard.
You joined two weeks ago, amidst all this stuff going on. I assume you had a reason for joining?
There's no need to leave or to stay. Do what feels right for you and your circumstances. You can always join again if you leave. If you stay then it's up to you whether you meet anyone or not.

don't see any reason why you can't have a profile, you've said you have a crisis to deal with, perhaps indicate you aren't meeting for the moment?
Plenty on here just chat or whatever, it's down to you what you want not people who contact you wanting a meet.
Hope you manage to get things sorted and can then carry on with your life and interests  |

It doesn't hurt to have a release from the pressure of shit going on in your life and this is a site that you can "let off"on also most. People on here are real so IF you find somebody that you click with, be it sexually or plutonic, you may have a friend/ lover for life. Either way you be strong, I for one will be thinking of you x |

Personally I'd say delete or hide profile and stay off till you've got your life sorted. It can be a tough site and if you're low already it could push you even lower. Saying that though only you know what's best for you. Either way stay or go I hope things start to pick up for you! |

Hi and welcome. I've been here 2 yrs plus and very rarely meet I enjoy the forum it can be the funniest place on earth to the most frustrating but there's an off switch. Why not lerk a while post when you fancy but a warning it's highly adictive you may never leave. Best of luck with your trubles I remember my own divorce only to well.....shudders x |
