I'm distraught, i can't eat, i can't sleep. I'm withering away to nothing

I know they're a ten a penny (and the rest!!!!) breed but i'll never replace that loyalty, love devotion and piles of shit.

Please advise and help.

and please, for once, just for tonight, be sympathetic, no offers of giving a dog a bone. thanks.

I'm surprised you ask for sympathy after your oh so sympathetic posts on the woman who ran away with her child thread.

Oh baby. How awful and they say that a dog is a man's best friend. Don't cry hunny there are plenty more nuts in the pound and when he knows you're all cuddled up with a new pup he'll come crawling on his belly .......

If he's dragging his ass hole along the floor get some Bob Martin's.

Maybe i should add that it was all of 21 years ago and i have been to Cruft's since then.

I've looked into thousands of puppy eyes but can't see my old Shep's (really) sparkle. I know they wag their tails best they can but i'm not fooled.

Irreplaceable.

Difficult to say, both fell off his mouth/fur in equal quantities. Unless stuck on with his fave beef gravy.

Boy, could he spit brussels though.

S'ok everyone, thanks for your help and sympathy. He's back.

Ten seconds after i put his tea down. I went soft (don't ask) and added a bit of beef brisket with his gravy.

Lesson learnt, feed em properly and they don't stray for long.

Cats is much bette! Play 'Memory' 10 times and you'll then willingly recall "Moments of Happiness". If that doesn't work join the cast of "Les Miserables"

Nah it's Ok, he's back, fed and watered and you'll never guess, he don't like cats. Not on his patch anyway.

ssssssssh now wish i hadn't put that bit in.

Isn't there a saying ,

"When a man's hard, he's soft and when he's soft, he's hard."

So i'm told by a friend.
