Polite to reply but is it more trouble?

Everyone knows that the girls on here get a lot of messages and it's hard to reply to all but I hear constantly that guys would prefer a polite 'no thanks' than no reply.
Now that I'm not getting hundreds of msgs a day, I gave it a try today (normally if not interested I just don't reply). And wow! Instead of that being the end of it, I got more msgs back!
Mainly of the type 'well I can be what your looking for' or 'well can I have a pic anyway' etc etc. So is it best just to ignore? Surely no one has the time to continue these rather pointless conversations?? |

Clever girls use filters.
I reply to all first messages. Had very very few rude replies. No issues whatsoever. Reply once and no need to reply again (if my answer was a no thanks). |

Blocking is just like filtering.
Only permanent - which in many cases is a godsend!

Agree, they say they want a polite no thanks, but then they not happy when they receive one, and just opens a can of worms.

Vigorous use of filters 
However,unless your going to block EVERY guy,you`re still going to get loads..
Theres some really nice guys here so I do believe in giving them a chance to show they are worthy of my time and a possible meet.
I pretty much reply to all my (hundreds of)messages,then just block any that arent listening/havent bothered to read profile..

Sadly it is the easiest way to avoid endless pointless if not rude replies I am afraid.

I must admit I have been guilty of sending a response to a 'no thanks' in the past -
I always send just one more note to thank them for letting me know (as that's rare) and wish them all the best going forwards (I certainly don't try anything more on or try to get anyone to change their mind as I respect their views)
If they have been polite enough to send a 'thanks but no thanks' I want to be polite back. Then leave it at that! (I accept that for some this may be one message too many but I hope I haven't caused any problems in the past)
I guess it's all down to what's in the further messages - some guys may see any form of response as the door being left slightly ajar for them to try again and it must wind the ladies up properly!

I used to reply no thanks but rarley do anymore. Men can't take no for an answer on here. And a lot of them just get abusive when you reject them. Why waste your time? |

I replied to a younger guy earlier telling him thanks but no thanks, he asked why, I decided to reply again (mistake 1) and explain, I told him I'm only really into doms (mistake 2), not exclusively just a preference and what he was offering was a bit soft. And he relied (no bloody joke):
' fucking come here so I can rape the shit out of you!'
I mean seriously, this is what u get for being nice??

im abit of a newbie to the site and tbh i understand what your saying. By replying i guess you are opening the door for them to hassle you as they might take you reply the wrong way but by not replying i think is kind of unfair tbh. If a guy writes you a decent message other than just hi fancy a shag etc then i would feel that even if your not interested a message back saying no thanks not my type etc would be Really kind. i have written my fair share of decent messages just to have them deleted and it kind of makes you give up Writing decent messages just to have them deleted. i always reply to my inboxes but then again im lucky to have 1 a week. From what i have heard , women get flooded so fair shout if you cant reply to all |

As a guy i always ask politely for a response. If I am not for them I accept it and move on. There are numerous females here who I dont find attractive once we have shared face pics. Guys be polite about it. If theres no attraction dont try and change someones mind it screams desperation |

If someone doesn't reply I move on. If they reply with a no thanks I'll reply back thanking them for the courtesy of the reply and wish then well. Much like someone said earlier. I've never once questioned why. |

I do love a reply to say no thanks but I appreciate it's difficult. I personally don't see why these men just don't get the message! If someone doesn't reply they aren't interested simples. I also don't think getting blocked is mean, I don't mind it! |

I don't reply to all , I use to but the messages that came after asking why or calling me names put paid to that so yes I find it more trouble. I also get put off by the ' if I send you a message at least be polite and reply even if it's a no ' on some guys profiles. |

When I first joined 5 year ago I replied to every msge after awhile I thought jeez all I'm doing is saying a polite no thanks. So its written in my profile now and as been in all my other profiles.8f I don't reply I'm not interested.More time now to chat to peeps I want to meet flirt N perv |

I'm still a newbie and I get hundreds of messages , occasionally ill reply with a "no thanks" depending on the effort they've made with their message but I mostly just delete and ignore . I'd be here forever replying to them all .
I do get repeat messages off guys ive ignored as well , everything from " am I not you type, don't you want my cock, babe ? You there ? To messages like "go find some one else to fuck then you slut"
I have quite an extensive block list already ! Even had someone message 5 times despite being deleted and the last time he was offering me cash ! Reported and blocked straight away . |
