Does anyone read books anymore or do you use kindles/tablets.

You can't use a kindle in the bath - well, you can I suppose.

I appreciate the practicality of kindles but I prefer an actual book in my hands.

You can't imitate the feel and smell of a book with a kindle but kindles are environmentally friendly compared to books so I'm on the fence overall.

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

I use both for convenience but always prefer a real book over a kindle - it's the feel and the smell of the paper that does it for me

I have used a Kindle for 4 years now, had a new paperwhite kindle at Christmas and i love using them.

I can skip from book to book and i find it far easier to read using a kindle

I love books - probably more than most people - every room in the house has books in it.

But.

It struck me recently when I was having a debate with someone over a passage in the Bible that I couldn't be bothered to go upstairs, fish out my copy and look it up - I just Googled instead.

Ya can't stop progress...

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Paper and ink person here. I'm trying to winnow my collection but then you find a favourite and it's hard to let go. Buying someone a book is a proper thing. Getting them a download of a book just isn't the same.

I 've tried reading books on my tablet but it's not for me! I'll stick to just playing games on it.

I like real books.

Books every time, but I'm a bit of a luddite sometimes.

Currently reading The Divine Comedy.
