I expect I'll end up watching it but let's be honest, it's gonna be more of the same - pretty much the same basic premise as all the other Jurrasic Park films.

I remember a few weeks back there was a thread about what makes you realise you are old. I went to see the first Jurassic Park movie on my first ever proper grown up date. Now with talk of how long ago it was I feel really old. But will probably still go and see it. It has dinosaurs in it. Yay!

We probably will see it. We were rediculously excited about it the first time we saw it advertised in the cinema but I must admit, the more trailers I see, the more I think it's going to be a load of crap.

The raptor fan in me DESPISES the fact that they seem to be tame in this movie... YOU CAN'T TAME RAPTORS!!! :-@

Read a review last night.

It said it was really good.

It also said you can, if you wish, see it as a direct sequel to JP.

Be warned though, it has some scenes that may scare young children.

You know what, that's a brilliant point the kid in us wants to see films like jurassic world and Pacific rim. Which has a terrible simple storyline but they're films for young people to enjoy.

I mean I haven't see seen world yet but you watch pacific rim and it's simple and predictable and doesn't make an lot of sense but it's giant robots fighting giant monsters and then this robot has a sword and it picks up a ship and hits the monster with it, ridiculous.

But it's fucking awesome! Especially from a kids point of view

We went to see it tonight. It lacked the originals wow factor as since Jurassic park we have become used to the graphics and animantronics etc in movies... Where as when the first movie came out it was a big leap forward..

That aside ... It was a good movie And my inner kid throughly loved it and was all excited... However I personally think that this needs to be the last one..

As really come on... Big dinasaurs and lots of people equals screaming, running and us being food x lol.

My 8 year old loved it x

I saw it yesterday and would pretty much agree with this.

but, I have a feeling that this is part one of a second trilogy.

Loved Pacific Rim. Leave your brain at the door, stock up the popcorn. Enjoy the (all to predicable but fun nevertheless) ride.

That was a good film as it was also visually spectacular, great use of colour in the cinematography.

Seeing Jurassic Park tomorrow on date night hope it's good!

It's not a great film but it does all the blockbuster dinosaur things. Plus, she covers the whole park at a run in white and in heels!

Went to see it today. Got as far as the big Dino breaking out and had to leave. My eldest had had enough - though my youngest was loving it.

They've been fine with the first three - but have only seen them at home.

Never on the big screen.

Still, cinema was kind enough to give a full refund

Have to wait fir the Blu-ray

Just in from watching it, as you'd expect - great popcorn Summer blockbuster, lots of action, hunky lead male, hot lead woman (with customary sweaty cleavage when in peril), and they all survive and live happily ever after (and with a little bit of love interest at the end!)

Standard fare and same old story but probably the best of the Franchise in my opinion, definitely recommended!

Just got back from the cinema.

I rather enjoyed it, I got a little emotional when the theme tune played, as the camera panned over the new park at the start of the film.

Jurassic Park was my first film I ever watched at the cinema when I was 12 or 13, been a fan ever since.

Glad I didn't wait for DVD to watch it.

It was mediocre at best.

Predictable and crappy acting. We ALL knew how it was going to end and I must say, the CGI didn't compare at all to the realness of the old animatronics.
