Anyone been to Dubai?

Can it be done on a tight budget?

I went a couple of months ago. It's not a cheap place to go, (except for the fags on your way home in Duty Free, they are cheap!). I was in a 5* hotel on the beach so maybe that bumped up the price a bit. I would say it's on par with New York. But that's my opinion, (before everybody jumps on me for saying that).

As living expenses there, 100 should be plenty - as long as there aren't ten of you!

You'll struggle if you only have a grand in total for hotels and flights.

My most recent trip cost just over £300 for flights...hotel costs will vary depending on which side of town you are on and the most expensive thing you will buy is alcohol which definitely isn't cheap...otherwise I would say it's London prices.

I've been loads of times for free. The navy go in there regularly. Or they did when I was still in.
