Well thats it ! The dirty deed has been done. The last payment has been made on our holiday to Turkey for 2011.
But before that we have a lovely meet lined up with a smashing couple and after our holidays - the Minehead social
Roll on 2011 - looks like a promising year |

"do people in here really plan that far ahead for a meet?"
We have meets booked up to first weekend in December... sometimes you have to book ahead to find a mutually acceptable date xxx |

We've only put the deposits on our 2011 hols but still got Jamacia in just over 4 weeks time still in 2010 and the holidays for next year are really going to be good, Egypt and Borneo so come the middle of next month we will certainly be looking forward to 2011 |

I feel a bit sad cos usually ive booked my hol for next year by now. Ive been going to New York and tend to have gone the same time every year, end of March. I like it cos after Christmas, im always depressed and feel my life is over, its just a downer after all the celebrations and I need something to pick me up. The thought that a holiday is booked and not too long to wait perks me up.
I am going to New York next year but not til Sept as I want to be there for the 10 year anniversary of the twin towers coming down, so ive got ages to wait |

Sorry, i know its a bit of a sensitive subject, but how will that be something to cheer you up? You said at the beginning of the post that you were a bit sad, but then want to go to Ground Zero!!!!
How is That gonna cheer you up |

Lol sorry yeah it sounded a bit odd.
I have friends who live in New York, one of them is a cop with NYPD who worked on the morning of 9/11. I will be meeting up with my friends and attending ceremonies on the anniversary so that part will be very sad and I shall be in tears, just like I am every time I visit Ground Zero. But I always go and give my time up to visit. But it is also exciting to meet up with friends who I dont get to see very often.
And the whole trip wont be cloaked in sadness cos I love New York and it will fabulous as it always is, so it will be something very exciting to look forward to. |
