Let's just say I loathed it after the combined pill. In it's defense however the issues may have been down to a pesky fibroid. The implant and more a coil weren't any more successful either |

I've tried everything.
I get migraines and horrific water retention on the combined pill; the implant made me suicidal and psychotic (quite liked it lol but i piled on weight). The coil dislodged itself and lets just saythey couldnt put another in after trying for a long time (boyoboy was messy)....so im running out of options. |

After my body finished fighting the coil and basically expelled it I was so relieved. I ended up having a hysterectomy (because of the symptoms caused by the fibroids). I was so exhausted I barely said anything at the hospital until the suggested trying the coil again. I don't think they were in any doubt I wasn't going too. Hysterectomy is a bit extreme though |

I didn't get on with it at all. I had bloating, lots of bleeding and a drop in sex drive!
None of the other mini pills worked with me, apparently it's how the progesterone is absorbed by the body!
My best friend is on Cerazette without a problem.
There again j get on fine with the Mirena coil and most people seem to hate it.
I also had mixed issues with the combined pill. I had one I liked, three I didn't then another I did.
There isn't one solution for all.
Know your body and if it's not working be prepared to go to your doctor and get something different.
If the coil hadn't worked hysterectomy or tube tying were my next options
Take care and good luck |

Cerazette hated me. Made me feel so ill, headaches, terrible mood constantly and always spotting. Needless to say I didn't stick with it. But then I know people who sing its' praises.
I went on the depo jab after finishing with the cerazette and loved it. |

I was on Cerazette. Hated it. Moody, tearful, psycho bitch from hell.
Now on Depo injection. Love it, moods have calmed right down. No periods for several years. Not planning on changing anytime soon. |

Have you tried different brands of combined and mini pill as they do all have slightly different mixes and different reactions. I had to come off Microgynon because it made me a psycho who would fly off the handle at nothing...the road rage was incredibly worrying! I was changed to a brand called Ovysmen and was like a completely different woman within a month. I know Cerazette is a different type of pill, but the principal is the same |

It depends on you.
Microgynon30 was perfect for me (other than the fact that I fell pregnant on that too).

Like others have said, it's down to your body. I get on great with cerazette, so did my best friend and she, like many others, really struggled to find any of them to agree with her. Coming off it for her was harder though as her periods took nearly a year a normalise after only being on it for a year. I've been on it about 7 years, starting to wonder if I should think about coming off it so that when I want kids I'll actually be able to get pregnant. |

Ditto. It was great for about 10 years until I met Bradley.
His little swimmers just don't seem to think contraception applies to them. |

This is something we may be looking into but I won't let him just yet.
I'm only 26 and these two are so close together... Financially, I think we could look into having a 3rd in future...
Plus, he makes such cute babies, lol! |
