2015 was the year Marty went forward 30 years to in Back To The Future II, but they got it totally wrong!
Instead of flying cars, hover boards, self drying clothes and massive holograms, what they should have shown was everyone staring at their hand held phones and ignoring each other.
What else did Hollywood get wrong? Rewrite a film here...... |

Soylent Green. Made in 1973 and set in 2022, it depicts a world devastated by global warming and over population. Everything is run by a small rich elite who work for large multinational corporations while the rest live a hand to mouth existence with constant police harassment. Any protests being put down by armour wearing riot police scooping people of the streets with deadly force.
Some might say we're well on the way and still 7 years left. |
