Ok while I generally enjoy the site, the users, the forums and I'm pretty laid back I have to confess I get really, very angry on occasion.
So I'm wondering, has anyone experienced anything similar?
Not just annoyed from a bad experience but actually angry due to something you've seen or that you've experienced either on fab or through using it. |

Nah, the day we get angry over something we see or read hear is the day the UNLOS button will be pressed. This is all about fun for us so we ignore the nasty stuff and there's enough seriousness in our lives that we don't need to take part in it here. |

Nothing on here gets me angry these days, I treat it all with a great degree of indifference.
I don't like the baiting of people that goes on, the celebration of hooking people and the enjoyment it gives.
But, all in all..... I just switch off and go and walk the beach, listen to good music and this place drifts away to nothingness. |

One experience we had made us angry and I think despite what people are saying we had a right to feel that way. I don't feel angry about what I read here but some things make me feel very sad. |

I sometimes get miffed by things I read on here but I wouldn't say angry. My pet hate is people who interpret what I say and put words in my mouth. That is my biggest bugbear in life not just here. I do feel on occasion that people get involved in threads just to get there opinion across without any good reason. I am very reactionary unfortunately and can't help countering what they say. |

No. I love a healthy debate - always have. Differing opinions offer food for thought, that's all. There is no right or wrong when it comes to an opinion - as it's coming from a personal stance. If someone's being confrontational for the sake of it, I just end up ignoring.

I have experienced a range of emotions during my time on Fab but I have never felt angry. I did once get annoyed during a period when a lot of 'mobbing' appeared to be happening. I have felt genuine sadness a couple of times though. |

Some people are unnecessarily aggressive/cowardly... the old insult then block double whammy from nowhere has hit us a couple of times. The most recent one was actually quite amusing as they winked at us, we wrote a nice "hi" back which was followed by the insult/block move from them. Lol Kinda like exploding on the runway without even reaching take off Feels a bit pissy for a moment or two... then you just realise how grateful you are that they revealed themselves to be twats before things went any further |

I do get a little miffed at posts on the forum which are down right rude or moralistic holier than though in tone, but I have no I don't like this in life and I don't problems saying my piece too. I dont like this in life and I dont like this here. I am so on and off the forums because of work, though, that I can't keep my attention on them. I don't get annoyed with any messages because I just block. I do like a bit of banter though. |

I've been around internet forums and chat rooms since 1997 and can honestly say Fabswingers is one of the more polite and definitely one of the tamer ones. When I think of how naïve I was back then, believing photoshop jobs and internet trolls, it makes me cringe.
These days, if I get steamed up, I log out and turn off the PC, as life is too short to get upset over something as ephemeral as an internet shagging site.
Having said that, there have been some very very nasty, racist/sexist/homophobic stuff said on here, but the mods tend to be all over that shit. |

I totally agree and that is the reason why I have steered away for a while. sometimes someone new posts a thread, okay so it has been on before, but so what, not by them .... and people do talk about the same thing over and over in real life, without being told to shut up. There are definitely a number of people who behave like a clique, or seem to .... but, well, good luck to them. I do try to keep it balanced, when I am here, just in the interests of decency. |
