I saw this programme last night about Cougars. It said that a Cougar was someone who looks for people 8 yrs younger than themselves yet judging by some of the members on here, it seems to be someone in their 40's that prefers the young lads, and the younger the better apparently So which is right? And a Puma is someone in their 30's that looks for younger men, does that mean 8 yrs younger too
So I perused Wikipedia which said:
“Cougar - The term is commonly applied to women who are thirty or older and pursue younger men. The origin of the word is debated; however, it is thought to have first appeared in print on a Canadian dating website. Since then, the term has been used in TV series, advertising, film and even books.
Puma - a woman in her late twenties and thirties who dates a younger man (i.e., 20-somethings), often considered a "cougar in training". It also means a cougar whose age disparity is less than eight years
Cub/Tadpole - a younger male who is going out with an older partner, often paired with the term Cougar. The term is also often used in the gay community along with the term Bear.”
Personally, I found the idea of the 73 yr old Cougar featured in the series and the 33 yr old Cub, an absolutely revolting idea, and is certainly not an 8 yr difference. And it is actually deemed a May to December romance.
I also found that some of the other terms used e.g. MILF, Sugar daddy/mommy, Cradle robber/snatcher really were just different variants of Cougar though I did think Trout was funny , it’s an older man that dates younger women, though Manther is the same except it is a male 40 years of age or older, who pursues younger women, typically more than half his age.
Least I now know where the word trolling comes from as a Troll is an older gay/bi man, often a less-attractive one, who cruises younger men for sex. |

"Maybe its just me but who else is fed up with all the labels that today's society has to put on things."
Puting a label saying 'Bleach' on a bottle of bleach is quite handy though |

WOW I'm glad to at last know what all of those terms mean.
I get called twat a lot, did they mention that at all?
Also going back to wild cats I've always thought Ocelot was a pervy name for a cat, It sounds more like a name for an oriface e.g. 'Yeah I fucked in her ocelot real hard, she loved it!'
.
.
Sometimes I think I need to just think my thoughts and not type them out. |
