YES before anyone makes any snide comments, I know that this isn't the best place but I need a little rant.
The rest of my family - apart from my parents & I - still live in Sheffield, whereas we live on the Yorkshire coast. I've literally just found out from a status update on a certain social networking site that my favourite uncle had a heart attack on Wednesday - he's back at home now thank God. I KNOW it's obviously a bit busy and rushed at the moment, but how the hell could nobody take five minutes out to send me or my mum a message letting us know what happened?! |

"I know the feeling. I found out via social media that my dad almost burnt his house down..! "
That's ridiculous!
I think I'm kind of in shock but I'm angry too. Obviously it wasn't too serious, but in that case how fucking serious would it have had to have been to inform us??? |

That's why keeping in touch with family is important - Don't wait for them to make the first move, even if it takes more than a couple of times keep trying, they will end up taking it in turns to get in touch x |
