Hello Fabbers

I hope you all had a jolly Friday.

Well the weekend is upon us . The pooch and I will be taking every advantage of the glorious weather.

On returning home the pooch reminded me that this evening on BBC 2 Wales, the Manic Street Preacher will be playing live. They are currently touring playing the classic Holy Bible album. Even they agree their best album to date. Tonight’s broadcast should be available to all via the iPlayer or various satellite channels

It’s quite a dark record, with some very hard hitting subjects. The Pooch thinks it one of the most significant albums ever recorded.

I know some think music should be light and happy , sometimes it needs to be dark and tackle taboo subjects .

So this evenings question is

What album do you think everyone should at least listen to once ?

Have a jolly evening chums

Ooooh, question!

Probably Bat Out Of Hell. There's a reason why that album's sold so many copies!

You can't have a compilation as your favourite album...

The Wild the Innocent and the E Street shuffle - Springsteen

Amazing (and underated) album by a very young genius.

Fantastic song

Just watched the Holy Bible , manic street preachers live at Cardiff. Great music should touch your soul , it should have an edge it should ask questions . Pop music has its place but as Eels said mostly pop bland chart music is Novocain for the Soul .
