It occurs to me that the much criticised 10% pay rise awarded to MPs will pale into insignificance next to the fees some of the artists will be paid for a few minutes contribution to this event. |

Well, it that case, i hope the BBC play on repeat "Things Can Only Get Better" and remind us all just how much that has cost the country, and still counting.

Manic Street Preachers, Holy Boble , its on BBC 2 Wales this evening and just bought the new Florence and the Machine cd , so giving that a dam good listening too  |

I thought most of this was amateur musicians, community choirs etc. performing up and down the country? Did I misunderstand the brief for the day?
