Can anybody tell me how to neatly fold a fitted sheet successfully??

So far my process has been:

1. Take hold of 2 corners

2. Attempt to fold sheet in half

3. After numerous hours of trying, crumple the sheet in a ball and throw it on the floor

4. Curl up in a corner and cry!

Easy - turn one sides corner inside out

Fold sheet in half

corners fit inside each other

fold again other way and repeat

finish folding to desired size to fit in drawer/airing cupboard/under bed

This is my method too

I fold dozens of sheets like this a week in work it's second nature and I'm always teaching people how to do it

My thoughts entirely. Roughly fold into an untidy mess and bung in the airing cupboard - the damn things stretch when you put them on the bed! Life's too short.

I have 2 ways to do it

leave on line and fold it smaller using the washing line

once you pull it off then you can fold it in 2 or 4 times in on itself

the other ways is to fold it over the stairs banister

same with fitting the duvet into it always over the banister

as king size covers can be a pain in the arse

In my experience, fitted sheets are anything but. They're either too small and they ping off at the corner, or they're too big and it feels like you're sleeping on corrugated cardboard

Snap but I do give them an iron before I put them on the bed. I feel it keeps them fresher that bit longer.
