I am an avid Leicester City fan, season ticker holder and go to many away games too .... i was horrified by their antics, especially the racist comments and the nasty things said about one of the girls.
They were away with their work place so they should have behaved with decency and respect.
One thing the papers got wrong is that they are premiership stars which is so not true, i think only one of them has had a game with the first team so hardly stars of any kind !
I hope the club gets rid of them as quick as possible but i hope Nigel Pearson stays and i hope our Thai owners stay with us too despite these imature idiots ! |

Like it or not, footballers are role models for millions of people, including children.
That said, they do have a lot of pressure on them. I know people will say they get paid well enough but we all messed up when kids, what we did was not national news though |

RACIST COMMENT JESUS CHRIST
you cant just say racist for every tongue in cheek comment, I see more racism in my job each week between Africans and West Indians and between Indians and Pakistannis then by any 'white' person and it goes untouched.
The Racist laws were brought in for a reason, people shouting I'm offended over every word takes away the real offenders
Has for young men having fun with a few brasses then yes this is wholey acceptable. |

I am really tempted to say the racist term you think is acceptable here.... I'll report it... And then the owners of the site can determine if they think is okay... If not... 48hr ban
I just think it was an abhorrent thing to say regardless... Being young doesn't get you a free pass |

I'll be honest racist misogynistic footballers aren't my preferred type of porn so it's unlikely I'll ever watch it.
Calling someone a 'slit eye' in a derogatory manner (and I assume as he called her 'minging' it wasn't a compliment) is clearly racist. What makes you think it isn't? Or that tge comment was tongue in cheek?

I've said the one I read in the guardian. I assume in the context of discussion rather than aimed at someone specific it's fine?

As I said, I haven't seen the video (and I don't really feel the desire to watch it). They obviously thought that whatever they said was racist or they would not have apologised publicly. I don't think it is relevant that you hear worse every day (from whatever race to whatever race). |

They were on a workplace tour and should have behaved accordingly. In most professions putting your employer in the position that they did would have been gross misconduct for which they would have been instantly dismissed. Yet again a football club fails to do what is right.

I'm hoping the football club does dismiss them, there is time yet
I can't see them getting a good reception at the King Power stadium if they came out to play ! |

Football fans are the most easily pleased and forgiving people in the world. Any of them score an hat trick and their names will be cheered from the roof tops.

I think with Leicester City having Thai owners it was very stupid thing to do. Just remember the Ron Atkinson incident when he used the N word. Everyone knows Big Ron ain't racist and it was the black player that stood up to support him! Either way they'll have leant a big lesson from this. |

When I lived in Brum I knew a few people who played at Ron Atkinson's golf club. For a 'non-racist' he was apparently very fond of racist language |

As an avid Leicester City fan i am saddened but the sacking of Nigel Pearson.
he has done lots for our club and it was good to have had a few settled years but now it seems we are the same as so many clubs who sack our manager when he's doing good for us !
If he was sacked cus of his sons actions that that seems rather unfair as it wasn't Nigel who did the horrible things, it was his idiotic son. !! |
