Reasoned debate and giving someone the facts may well change their point of _iew. Ms hot banana made some very good, reasonable points and hopefully the guys that read the thread may have read those and changed their opinion. Or they may have just seen women ganging up on a guy and all that did was reinforce their original beliefs and perceptions of women on sites like this........ |

There's never anything wrong with expressing an opinion. The trouble is if that opinion is small minded, or expressed in a manner that is derogatory or offensive in any way it will generally get people's backs up.
And consistently stating that your right, that everyone else is wrong and that people aren't supportive of an opinion for fear of upsetting women - when the reality appears that the majority, regardless of gender, simply don't agree?
That'll just get people's backs up even more.
I didn't see much ganging up. Just consistently differing opinions that were being dismissed.

"Read it and this thread and to be honest the guy was a bit of a knob far does but was it truely needed to have another thread kicking him was he was already down?
was he down, or just someone looking for a fight on the forums
I never read it as he was looking for a fight, he said something that irritated and tried to justify it. Rightly or wrongly.
anyone with starting something with "sorry" and in caps

unto that point Jacs, it was a female led conversation, he knew that his opinion was different to the ladies and maybe, just maybe he positioned the sorry as a precursor. He gave his opinion and stuck with it and people were annoyed."
an opinion yes i get that we all have them, but on a swinging site i dont think he understood things, which again is fine as we all learn as we go along
but so what someone had sex in six months and she was looking, most men havent always had a meet on here or sex in six months and they are looking
so whats the difference? |

everyday there are posts from people saying how the site has changed over the years and possibly in the olden days people joined with an expectancy to be meeting for sex, over the last couple of years it has changed a little to be more encompassing with people who have done their swinging and hanging around to chat to pals, spending more time socially than actively meeting, on here just for chat and the forums and ALL of these things are perfectly fine but for a female, where we know it is a female led game, for them to not have sex and they be actively looking, I would be surprised as well. That is not saying they SHOULD shag anyone, but they spend the time looking for a compatible playmate.
again and as always, it's choice. |

I don't care what attitude someone has or why they posted anyway, what a stranger on a forum thinks is really of little impact on my life.
All I saw was someone who simply did not understand WHY a woman on here might choose not to have sex for some time, and I just tried to explain why when I contributed.
I think a lot of people come here and go through a 'child let loose in a sweet shop' phase and then wake up one morning and think 'Hmm, this is not actually the kind of meet I really want, I'm going to slow down and look for something better'. I guess women are more likely to think like that than men on the whole, more of them would be happy to stay in the sweet shop! |
