I'm 5'8" and I can't get out of cars gracefully at all, especially getting out of cars, four door ones in particular. I have to tuck and roll and get out backwards.  |

I got a lift in a really low slung sports car once (I don't know what the technical term is) and had to haul myself out by holding onto the roof.
My biggest tall-girl gripe is the "fuck me, you're tall!" you get on meeting people. Despite repeatedly telling them how tall I am, men are generally still surprised by it.  |

I just don't trust any man-measurements and stick to the tall ones now  6'4 and up is best for me. I don't want to have to show up barefoot |

2 bollocks and an average size stiffy. The bucket seats of an Alfa GT are wonderfully comfortable and supportive until you try to get out. Especially when you're 6'2" |

Once at a TG event, I managed to wonder into the midst of a group of very tall leggy girlys wearing high heels, all of whom must have been 6'6. I introduced myself and said it was nice to be able to visit the Sequoia National Park without going further than Yorkshire.  |

I have dodgy knees and they hurt bad when I get in and out of any cars. A friend picked me up for a wedding in her Porsche and had to help me in and out of it. I felt a proper plum. |

Try owning a 77 spider,no owning it was OK, selling it for 5k in 1999 wasn't the best move though "
It's a 2007 GT Blackline. Before that I had a 156 JTS, a 2.0 Spider TS, a 3.0 GTV and a 2.0 GTV TS. I'd love an old GTV Junior or GTV6 though but prices are getting silly now. |

Me too, they're much easier to work on for a start! Changed the oil cooler on my Alfa the other week after an altercation with a pothole. The whole front end had to come off and I had to have fittings made by Mocal which worked out £250 cheaper than using the genuine Alfa parts (which are actually crap mild steel and known for leaking). Even an air filter change took nearly an hour! |

One thing being tall - particularly in heels - means is that I tend to get noticed in clubs - particularly dress-down clubs where it's down to bra and Knicks/thong straight away!!
I was really self conscious at first - and felt that everyone's eyes were on me though I'm sure they weren't - so I opted for bra and Knicks instead of basque etc so I could tell myself it was just like being in a bikini on the beach! I found it helped!! |

Mrs l is 6ft in her bare feet, and loves wearing heels, I'm 6ft3 and I'm some shoes she towers over me, people just stop and gaup at her, not even subtly properly just stare at her, but in clubs she loves it because she's an attention whore lol, like Anna says all she gets is fuck me your tall, did you think she was lying when she told you she was 6ft? what do people expect when someone says I'm tall lol, |

Tall men command a presence generally though. I met someone recently and for some reason I'd visualised him being about 5ft 11. He turned out to be 6ft 4, I'd forgotten how much I enjoy wearing heels next to a guy who's still far taller than me. |

Thank god I'm here! It's easy. Bum in first when getting in. Then just spin your legs in. For getting out , both feet out first then just get out. Anyone of age will do this while making a groaning sound. I know I do! |
