When you get the why question asked after you say no thanks
i ask the same thing now
"do you ask someone in the pub or bar you asked out and said no for a reason"
they come back and usually say "no i don't"
and i reply you have the answer

I know rejection stings and we all get it. some block and move on but i prefer only block the people
who are abusive and numptys
but read a profile see if you meet the criterias if messaging could save a rejection or a deleted mail
i wish some people actually reads profiles  |

I find reading the profile does save a lot of trouble all round. I also find a polite thank you when someone says no (even without a reason) is the best way to deal with it.
I've never understood the abusive message thing that seems to go on a lot on the site. |

Our profile is hidden now because all it said was not meeting, please don't message us for meets. Mrs is poorly. Only here for forums. Status updates also said not meeting just chatting to friends.
Low and behold the 20+ messages a day asking for meets and saying things like "wow, love the profile" lol.

I don't even reply now. some guys message me back a week later saying remember our chat last week? and all i did was reject them and not really have a conversation.
I get what you're saying though, don't understand why guys want to be told they're too *whatever* and you personally don't want them (coz your taste is different to anyone elses as well). |

I try similar usually 'ok no worries, good luck x' which has on occasion actually sparked more conversation not always towards a meet but a bit of a social chat doesn't hurt anybody |

One guy do it something similar in club for me after when he was rejected.
I waited a few min, I ve bought Bloody Mary, and I gave him saying you wish to try how sweet and spicy that fatty is,enjoy.
His face..Priceless Because he was with few other friends |

A no is a no...Never any point in dragging out any 'why' questions...
Responding to all messages is less of an issue for single men who don't get [well, presumably!] much unsolicited mail, but doubtless a pain in the arse for those that do.
I don't write to many people at all, but this is how I would presume things...
A reply with invitation to chat - Chat!
A no thanks reply - A brief reply back from me saying thanks and best wishes
No reply - Means not interested - if that is not right and I do get a later reply, then fair enough...
That's about it I would imagine. For me anyway. |

I advise abusive guys to get an adult to help pick the dummy up they just clearly spat out and redirect them to the ceebeebies website as it would be more appropriate for silly little boys as this is a site for adults! |
