I have a favourite called Bob Log III he's a one man band who plays dirty almost dancy blues, he wears a jumpsuit and a crash helmet, the crash helmet has a telephone attached as a mouth piece and he sings through that whilst playing drums with his feet and slide guitar. Hes just awesome.
Do you guys have and favourite or know any unique/different musicians? |

There's a band called Molotov Jukebox that I like, the lead singer's an actress who's been in Harry Potter & Game Of Thrones. Their self titled genre is Gyp Step, as opposed to Dub Step.  |

Moondog was a blind composer and musician who lived in New York and then Europe through most of the last century. He was mainly homeless, lived on the streets, made his own instruments and clothes [often dressing as a Viking] and made some absolutely fantastic music.
Long gone now but his music is still available. |

Django Reinhardt. An amazing gypsy jazz guitar player, he only had two fingers on his left hand due to a caravan fire yet could play stuff that most 5 fingered guitar players struggle with.
Eddie Van Halen. The guy reinvented rock guitar back in the late 70's. Totally unique style, homemade guitars and modified amplifiers that changed the way many companies thought about the instrument. |

Youssef Hbeisch. Recently saw this percussionist with Ahmed Al Khatib in Brighton, supporting Palestine Solidarity Campaign. The most mesmerising percussionist I have witnessed. Absolute wizard. |

I like Tom Morello although he's not for everyone, especially his work in Audioslave.
Had a debate with a bloke at a rock pub about him and he was saying he just makes noises they're not proper solos, my counter was a guitar solo is just that, he's got his own style and while it's not for everyone it's certainly unique and you can spot a Morello solo a mile away. |

I like his use of the Digitech Whammy pedal and he was one of the reasons I bought one. You're bang on about his style, he's very unique especially when you know who taught him to play. |

Michael Angelo Batio, the ridiculous shredder. Totally different styles, both technique wise and compositionally. |
