I grew up norris green and it was every man for himself most of the time, but not to bad round us now xx |

Exactly. People can have benefits sanctioned for three years, at the whim of officials. Even if they subsequently get a job, get made redundant, their family is still refused money.
So no food, money for rent, applying for jobs, heating etc. And that poor son in this show could have been the one most affected, because of heartless decisions by officials.
I only saw a few minutes of last night, none other in the series. Very moving. People like this need a better system. |
