Joy division
Housemartins
Smiths
From that point in I think Ive seen every band I've wanted to at least once but there are a few I wish I'd seen more times.
Saw Joe Strummer and have seen Mick Jones playing Clash songs so that makes up for tge disappointment of being too young for them |

I worked security at a Queen concert during their 'The Works' tour in 1984. When they played 'Radio Gaga' I went and stood at the back of the Arena and watched the crowd clap their hands as per the video.
I wish I'd seen a Johnny Cash solo concert - I saw him as part of The Highwayman with Waylon Jennings,Kris Kristoferson, and Willie Nelson, but a solo concert would have been amazing |

I did Concorde, but missed Queen.
Would have loved to have seen Blondie, though have seen Debbie in the flesh. There was a fantastic exhibition of her partner's photos in London, till a few weeks ago - stunning pics of her and others. |

I've bene fortunate to see all my fave bands - Stones, Dexys, Clash, Ramones, Kraftwerk, Jimmy Webb, etc. The band I've never seen - although I had tickets once for them and they cancelled - was Scritti Politti. It seems they never tour because of stage fright! |

"Led Zeppelin, Leonard Cohen (I know he's alive but old now, not touring as much), The Beatles, Nirvana, Amy Winehouse, The Who, Pink Floyd. Sighs! "
Leonard Cohen is, technically, one of the undead. According to Neil from the young ones. |

I would love to have seen Pink Floyd in there day.
Dave Gilmore was asked once if he hadn't been in Pink floyd what would he be doing, he said "standing in the audience watching a Pink Floyd concert". |

I came very close too seeing ub40 on Saturday, back stage VIP tickets, for free as my boss was running the show, but it all feel through at the last minute due too arranged transport falling through..as people pulled out. However they weren't top of my list, I would love too have seen pearljam , the foo fighters, soundgarden and led zeppelin by now, for various reasons I don't think I ever will. |

"The Smiths unfortunately never gonna happen, I have seen Morrisey and Johnny Marr play live - just never together "
Thats because they're struggling to venues big enough to fit Morriseys ego into that he can sell enough tickets to afford- He still thinks he's an arena act but unfortunately he can't even fill an academy arena- they couldn't even give away spare tickets to his last tour |

I saw Queen in 86 at Wembley (and the year before at Live Aid). They were amazing.
Regrets? Would've loved to have seen The Pogues and The Beatles |

Have seen most of the big rock bands over the years, but would love to have seen Hendrix, 10cc, ELP, Bowie, BB King, Johnny Winter, Supertramp.
Although I'm going to see The Tubes in August, it's not with the original line up. |

I saw The Clash post-Jones, and regret that I never saw the 'true' line-up. Also missed out on chances to see the Chords and The Who... |

YES after all these years...I will get to see Patti Smith live.....excited much? You better believe it! |

I've now seen and heard Patti Smith perform live, and she and the band were bloody.......................Brilliant!
I'd built this night up in my mind so much I was worried I may have been disappointed, all fears were ended after the first song
Hearing music she recorded 40 years ago sounding so fresh was nothing short of outstanding |

Really sorry I missed Patti due to work commitments but we did see her play a tiny club in Greenwich Village a couple of months ago. She was phenomenal, mesmerising and she signed our gig poster ??

A year ago we would've said Kate Bush but we saw her last October. Cost us a small fortune but it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. She didn't disappoint. Part theatre, part gig. As unique a concert as she is an artist. |
