Can anyone recommend the best hotel in Sheffield/Rotherham for meets.

Meeting a couple in a hotel in a few weeks if you know what I mean.

Travelodges are usually better but only coz they don't care what u do in them. Premier inns can be fussy but better hotels. If it's just for a meet cheaper budget hotels are good.

If u ask nicely in some hotels, the night staff would maybe wanna play too

Mercure Sheffield St Pauls

Very comfortable and very good service.

One of my usual haunts when I am in the area.

We like the Garrison, it's more of a motel with doors directly from the outside so you can take who you want in them and reception are none the wiser. Can be pricey though

More to do with not up setting night staff, don't want them getting face on about being to many in the room.

The big chain budget ones have card operated lifts. And the ibis is very strict on extra people especially after a certain hour.

There's a mercure at Sheffield parkway.

"Ibis maybe

"

NOT THE BUDGET ONE

We stayed there for 3 nights in January... There was no kettle (wtaf) and the bed was so hard, we may as well have been on the floor... There was also a single bed above our bed that got in the way while we were shagging....that aside.... I think that's where we conceived, so I'll let them off

Just been looking at the budget ibis. We can book it for 2nights. Got a meet planned for Tuesday daytime.

Think that maybe an idea don't have to ask for early check in.

The budget ibis is the worst for having guests up to your room! They really don't like it, they will say it's because you're not insured and refuse to let anyone up who isn't registered.

And the rooms are tiny and poorly fitted out.

Just out of interest, does what hotel brand it is matter or is it a rooms a room and it's the company what matters.

The company is what matters, but pleasant surroundings are preferable
