Yes and he'll probably be re elected tomorrow? If he had any sense he'd stand down but I think he'll keep going until he's forced out.

Corrupt through and through, the whole organisation has, don't ask for proof, I have none, but time will tell.

Yes, he's already stated he won't resign. Problem is he kept his hands clean although totally suspect nothing will stick presumably otherwise he'd have been arrested with the other officials.

He's staying on to sort this mess out. Doesn't anyone actually realise that he's the biggest crook out there? Same with Michelle platini. He's a ********* too

The corruption is so widespread and deep seated that there is probably a majority of deligates who don't want anyone to clean it up for fear of their own dishonesty being found out. So Blatter will continue. Time to start another football governing body i suggest.

They're all voting for him to stay in as he's probably got dirt on them all, same with our MP's and the expenses stuff going on. Pigs in the trough and all that

I'd have voted for Luis Figo myself, he at least had a grasp of what football fans wanted, that and my mum thinks he's a "good looking wee boy"

Added to that the horrific human rights abuses in Qatar should see the tournament cancelled altogether, give it to USA, Australia, England, Italy, France etc, someone that could at least organise a tournament in the spirit of the game.

* Scotland would be nice.

Maybe the FBI have found some evidence of his corrupt and dodgy dealings, so he jumped ship before he was pushed?

I suspect that particular timebomb will tick for a while longer.

I suspect that the investigation will not be dissimilar to how they brought down Lance Armstrong, start on the outer circles, gather more evidence, people confess to ease the pressure on themselves and implicate others until eventually the evidence against him will be overwhelming
