Most clubs appear to have variable charging, lower for couples than single guys.
Following on from the cake saga, can two guys pay a lower admission price if they claim they are a "gay couple"?
If the club, ie a business, won't let them in is that discrimination?
Mind you, any subsequent court case would be somewhat interesting.
Anyone know, or experience this?

The difference with most clubs is that they are private members clubs. That takes them out of some of the legal realm. As private members clubs they can choose to refuse membership, offer differential rates to "recruit" groups they feel are needed in the club (women and couples usually).
I'd rather see flat rates but it won't happen. I'd like to see same sex couples treated as couples.
