I don't message first,I may have twice at the most in the time I've been here. I'm lazy and scrolling through profiles makes my eyes hurt and makes me nauseous. |

Seems lazy if ladies just expect everyone to come to them. There again with the amount of men to women on this website, it could be said to be the smart thing to do. |

I sometimes wink or fab pics if I see someone that really catches my eye, but most of the time is spent deleting all the "hi" messages! its a real joy to see a well written message targeted just at me and not a generic/blanket message. I will always reply to those, even if its a polite "no thank you". |

. Sometimes yes . I had two on Saturday which is unusual. It may depend on your profile and location . If your profile is interesting and with good pictures it might just be enough to attract attention. |

So my next question is...
What do you expect from a first message... Some people have hot pics yet there profile leaves you very little to spark a convo without sounding generic..

Then concentrate on the more interesting profiles. Anyone can put up hot pics. It means nothing. |

I tried messaging first but it didn't work for me so now I rarely bother. I look at the profile before I read the message. If it's a good profile I'll happily answer, if its not then I don't. |
